Well surprise, surprise, actually woke up feeling fairly decent emotional-wise today. Sure beat yesterday, which was majorly not fun. Still, sometimes you got to run with the bad as well as the good. Guess I just needed to upchuck a lot of misery, and even with the tight throat and bouts of tears (and the physical PAIN) managed to get a lot done. More today and then that damn opera tonight. Am so not looking forwards to that, but I’ll enjoy the dinner out and performance, ignore all the surrounding emotional crap with Ursel and have a good time.
Yes, feeling better about things. Harder? (As in an heart-hardening, not difficulty, way.) Yeah, maybe a little bit. Feels good not to feel so much. Guess I needed that thieving kick from a “friend”, as well as the “No one is available tonight for you but yourself, Melissa” extra. Really helped get my head back on straight.
R, you were wrong and I was right. Sorry, Big Guy.
Stories, stories, stories...words in my head just waiting to burst forth when I’ve the time. There when I set my head down on the pillow and more of them before eyes open in the morning. Sort of excited really with all the new stuff just waiting to be born on the screen...
Soon. Very soon now.
This morning though, all the plaster is dry, windows ready for priming and then I’ll move on from there to the walls with paint...oops, or after a few hours covering the store since Emile just got up and told my his list of “need to get done’s” this morning.
And on that note, time to finish my tea, enjoy these last few moments of morning peace and quiet and get a move one.
Cheers,
Melissa
